I've had the same issue with the 5604's I put in my Monte. I have 2" drop spindles, all steel Pontiac motor, and A/C. It sits higher than stock which blows my mind. I wish I had done a little more research before I bought those springs or I would have more than likely gone with the 5608's

when you have the car in the air the front wheels go to positive camber so when you put the car on the ground you have to roll the car a few feet to let the camber go to neutral position. The car will sit higher if you don't

I don't know how I missed it, but I looked and the springs aren't positioned correctly on the lower control arm. I'm gonna try to turn them (hopefully without too much labor involved) before I try a spring for a v6 application. I'm thinking the 5660

Ok, I haven't been around for a while, but I used this thread and several others to study up on lowering my latest G Body, an 86 El Camino. There's a lot of info on springs, but here's what I did...I got Moog 5660 springs for the front and cut one coil off. I didn't heat the last half of the coil and push it down, I just lopped a coil off and installed them. For the rear I got Moog 5401 springs and slapped them in. Both sets are stiffer than stock and it rides great, no scraping of anything...Anyway, hope this helps someone...
