Hoping to get some help here. I know with my qa1 coil over's I won't be able to get the front end up to put my 20" wheels on the el Camino. I figure I'll have to put some moog springs and some shocks in there.

Question is, what springs? This is an 87 el Camino, v8 air conditioning car. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

20s aren't big. They should go right on there with the right tire size for a car not a truck.

I have 20s on my cutlass with factory coils on it. I do have a little rub in the front at full turn though but I also went with a 255 tire instead of 245 (shop where I got rims from recommend) not sure how much of a difference it would make if I had 245s

The 5662's will get the front end up. I cut about coil and 1/2 to get my T-type down as low as your Elco. The 5662's out of the box basicaly result in "stock height" but are much firmer at that height than stock.

My only problem with 20's is it is hard to find 26" tall tires. With 27" tall or taller tires the inner fenders start getting in the way.

Well I would like to keep my coil over's on but not sure if I could get a good enough ride height out of them. I have 450lb springs in there now. Maybe if I go 650lb springs because these 450's don't hold the car up very well.

Found the problem. I called qa1 today and gave them the part number summit tech guy gave me when up went to 450lb springs on my coil over's. Turns out they gave me the wrong part number.....
Ordered a stiffer spring and the RIGHT ones, unbelievable. Luckily summit said they would exchange them even though they've been installed due to circumstances. We'll see. Thanks guys!

Installed the 600lb springs on the coil over's. With spring at its lowest setting, it gained maybe 1/2". Should be able to adjust them up at least an inch I hope. I'll try tonight.

Soooo happy with the new springs. Here's a pic of lowest and one adjusted up 2" on the coil body. Perfect range for what I want to do!

When is the monster truck jam in Anaheim? Lmao. Goes way up high if I need it.
