Hey guys i have A 1981 buick regal and am curious if the hood and spoiler from the later model Grand Nationals would fit? I know might be a dumb question considering their basically the same but i know they changed some things up and didnt know if they would fit or not. let me know thanks!

The hood and rear spoiler will fit, about the only exterior cosmetic changes between 81'-83' and 84'-87' Regals are the rear taillights which are interchangeable and the front header panel and grill with the later years being more desirable.

ok thats what i thought.. how about the GNX Fender flares? would i need to do any modification to the wheel well or panels?

The GNX fender flares fit all 81'-87' Regals but if you are going to install those with a GN hood and rear spoiler then you should probably get the header panel, grill and taillights for an 84' and up so it looks right in my opinion.

That would look very cool. 1981 gnx I have never seen it.
Or even better a 79 gnx... o_O

agreed.......the 87 header and grill are the best looking in my opinion......would be a much better look than the 81.

GNX flares, real ones require cutting the fenders and the quarters... they are not very pretty under neath that black paint!
