I'm going to relocate my battery into it and do a cover for the floor, out of sight out of mind.

I took mine out. It was pretty dented up on the bottom. It looked like it took a couple big hits which made me think it wouldn't be the best spot for the battery. I'll just mount the battery on the flat panel that's in it place.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll make a trap door style cover and hide a battery or something in the bottom
nice cover. did you make that yourself. is it possible to buy one?
A buddy of mine made it. He used the tire well that I removed as a template. It worked out nice. I suggested to him that it would be a nice part to offer for sale, but he wasn't interested. I really like the looks of the trunk floor being flat. That tire well hanging down bugged me, especially being all dented up...
