Hello G-Body peoples,
What a helpful forum for any G-body questions I could ever have!

I am a chassis designer at canadian hot rods inc and i am working on designing a G-body performance chassis. I am looking for info (pictures and measurements) on all types of models to make sure nothing is over seen throught this process. If you have any underbody pictures of your g-body I would be happy to see them, also if you have measurements (center line of wheel to body mounts/ bumper mounts ect, ect,) I would like to see them and compare to what I have to elimate any differences.

Our typical chassis set up is C4 corvette suspension front and rear (although I working on a ford 9" as well with 4-bar link) with multiple crossmembers to strengthen everthing up. Most of our cars are running LS engine and gen v LT's.

If you guys what to see pictures of the design process as I go let me know!
Thanks!

if those drawings don't give you all you need wouldn't it be easier to buy a compete G body and get the measurements you are looking for?

Or offer an awesome deal on a frame to someone that will let you use their very clean Gbody as the prototype.

For the frames, there are the coupe/sedan, station wagon, & pickup delivery (aka El Camino.) Out side of that there are the earlier ones with out the drivers side extension for the TH200 4R crossmember. Be nice to have it set up to make exhaust manifold & header selection easier. I'm partial to Chevy ram horns myself.

I forgot about that detail, maybe they could set those chassis up with bumper brackets to comp for that
