I also have one like Oldmansmonte ^^ mentioned, with a padlock. It does take virtually seconds to unlock and remove...no biggie.
I haven't used it in years. I used it everyday when I parked my car on the streets of NYC.
I'd use it again in a heartbeat...plus it beats having some lowlife punch thru your column.

Can u list some I don't have to take off

The other models listed at the top of the page with the "P" in front of the number are the permanent models.

The permanent models actually provide less coverage for the ignition switch than the removable models, that's why I don't recommend the permanent models.
