start with a full dash swap, including the hvac case and column

that's my progress so far. I plan I using the engine just to get it moving I it's own and then replacing it with a turbo engine from Japan. I recently removed the transmission tunnel from the donar lexus. I have to put it in place on the console and then build a floor pan that connects to it. this is all new stuff to me but I don't think it's out of my range of ability.

this is a great build and those engines are capable of a lot of power!!!

I look forward to seeing this completed, it should be stunning!

I hope you find a way to incorporate the independent rear suspension and rear differential from the lexus platform as well. Since you are fluent in japanese vehicles, might I ask why not a skyline GTR based swap (RB26DETT)? I suspect I know the answer is because you had a donor lexus kicking around whereas the cost of sourcing GTR parts would cost a grip; all of which I can understand.

Actually if you find the right importer a gtr engine isn't bad expensive

Very ambitious project. It's looking good so far. How hard was it to get the dash to fit? How much trouble was it to mount the support bar that the dash mounts to?
