your canister should have two ports, one that says TANK and one that says CARB. What kind of carb do you have? Also I just used some galvanized metal strap and some rubber to hold the radiator down. I bent it into an L shape and bolted it to the core support using the fan shroud bolts to hold the rad as I didn't have a fan shroud. Go searching the junkyards for a V8 shroud.

Holley 600
Is it vacuum operated?

I'm just looking for something to secure the radiator as quick semi permanent fix. Shrouds are pretty hard to come by around here. I plan on doing electric fans in the long run.

600 holleys have vacuum secondaries if thats what you were wondering. The CARB line on the canister goes to the bowl vent on the carb. There should be a little tube coming off the side of the carb on the passenger side. Take a few pics of the carb if you can.

And this is how I have my rad secured, it works well until I can find a shroud. The shiny metal strap on the core support in the middle. Just get a piece of galvanized strap from the store, bend it into an L shape, and use a fan shroud bolt and some rubber (to dampen vibration) to hold the rad.

The hose from the canister to the carb normally connects to a nipple on the float bowl, which is a float bowl vent, but your Holley 600 won't have a provision for that

I don't think his Holley will have a place to hook up the canister line.

I've seen some that had the tube sticking out towards the passenger side on the front metering block... thing. Could he just tee it into the pcv line instead?

Not too familiar with the 600, only having had one on my T Bird, but if it does have a port I think it should be the one on the right... right?

Just a small update. I've had the regal back on the road about a month now. Driving it around probably at least twice a week with the weather being mild. Still a few things to iron out but overall so far so good.

The Regal is looking good. Glad to see you've got it on the road. Since you've got a 350 now instead of that whimpy V6, how about a burnout pic?

Lol. I'm all for it but moneys tight right now and need to be saving for a house. Buying new tires for wheels I don't really want or worse breaking an axle just isn't something I want to deal with right now.
