It all started when I heard some Wheel Bearing noise on this Car that I'd recently purchased.
and when I went to change the Bearings I found this!

Couldn't find the Matching Rally wheel Yet but I found a Crazy Deal on Some Mags
14" Keystone Raider Unilugs. $50 for all 4 tires included. A little rusty but Totally can be restored.
Unilugs are wierd at first
They looked pretty good, thought not as good as My Rally wheels.
I was dumb and didn't change out the tires because they had tons of tread but after 2kmiles
60MPH on the freeway!
I was able to pull over but had to get into about 1ft deep snow to get out of the right Lane.
there was a concrete blocker on the Shoulder and the snow was so deep that I couldn't change the tire. I had to get a Tow. Covered by insurance which is nice.
My goodness people if there is a Tow truck with his lights on try to get one lane over or at least slow down. No joke people were flying by him at 70 Plus within a foot of killing him.

Not Bad for $50 but Now I have 2 sets of 3 good wheels, one that needs to be replaced still and another that could use some straightening work on the outer rim.

Put the best 2 of one set on one side and the best 2 of the other set on the other side. LOL It sounds funny but I have done it and most people will not notice.

The only Problem with that is that The Tires on the Keystones are about an inch taller than the tires on the rally rims.
So one side would sit a half inch Higher. Not like my car sits level right now anyway I guess LOL.

hello and welcome ,
thinking the other 3 tires on the Keystones are ticking time bombs . Should be time for new rubber.

They are. I'm on it. I'm going to to get the Other Rally rim. There's a Yard near me that Supposedly has a good selection of them for $20 each. I'm going to go check them out.

Since I'm getting New tires I'm thinking about going with Shorter front tires and Taller Rear tires Because It looks awesome. Anybody have bad luck with this? Go online and everyone says "You'll shoot your eye out". Like it's the most dangerous thing known to man.

someone torched off that lugnut, it wasn't rust. I personally prefer 235/ 60's on all 4 corners rather than bigs n littles. That way when the 2 rear wheels lose tread ( I don't know why that happens ) you move the fronts to the back and buy 2 new front tires. Thus with the relative low miles these cars see you are less likely to be rolling on dry rotted tires.

I changed it because it looked unsafe. i never thought that the thing was cut out. but it does look suspiciously clean for rust.

Rear lose Tread? Not With Diesel 2.14:1 Rear end that I'm temporarily stuck with.

I think 235's would fit on My Mag wheels but not the Stock 14x6 Rally Rims that I prefer. But that makes Sense. Eventually when I get some Power I'd want a Drag set and a Street set. I'm willing to sacrifice the Ability to Rotate tires.

I also hear a Big block will drop it 2"
My car actually sits higher in front right now. the opposite of what I want

The Diesel 350 it had was apparently a lot heavier than the Gasoline 307 so it's got beefy front springs.

I had 205/60/r15 and 215/70/r15 in my MC about three years ago, at the time i thought it was badass, now not so much haha. I had no complaints just thought the rear felt high and floaty. They say it changes your caster slightly to negative, but even still i run 245/45/r17 in the back and 234/45/r17 in the front on the MC right now. When i get my Tax return ill be going with 255/45/17's all around, just so i can rotate tires.

You have more guts than I do driving in the snow with those tires. Whats the date code on those tires? Is there no safety inspection on a car when you buy it?. Where I am part of the inspection they pull off all the wheels to check the brakes and stuff so that rusted wheel would have been caught at the inspection.
