I am doing the c5 big brake mock up. My question is, how do I modify the old E Brake cable to the c5 back plate E brake hook? I notice alot of people just don't use their E brake, but I do. Any help will be appreciated..

This is something I'll be working on soon. I haven't come up with a plan yet

just to clarify, are you using an ls1 rear brake setup or a c5 rear brake setup. the post that ssn696 referenced is for an ls1 rear brake setup.

fwiw, i spent many hours looking for an easy way to hook any rear disc brake system all the while gathering various different systems. they all have issues or are too small for my wants.

I used LT1 Fbody Rear Disc, which uses the hand lever like the Vette. I used the stock Gbody Cable to a little lever on the frame that I installed as a fulcrum, and the cables for the Fbody setup are tied into that there. Purpose for this is to achieve the proper 2:1 ratio needed to make the foot pedal move the Ebrake correctly. Have had it in for a while and works perfect.
