'81-87 Grand Prixs. I like the lines of them the most of all the gbodies. Plus the GPs had the best dash layout, and I've always wanted one with a 200r4, and a pontiac 400.

I have only seen maybe 1-2 GPs in person to be honest... almost everything I see is a monte, regal, cutlass

I've got to put my vote in for an El Camino. Having a pickup bed that is that low to the ground is heavenly when it comes time to move big heavy things. When I moved to this house, I moved all my major appliances with my El Camino instead of my brand new truck.

I would also love a Grand National or a Regal if I could find one.

If I could wave a magic wand, I think I'd build a Buick wagon with a T-type front clip and the 455 that's buried in my shed. However, I have a Malibu wagon almost identical to the one I learned to drive in, so I am content.

I lusted after a 78 Malibu with a big block and four speed when I was in high school. I grew up wanting a Monte SS. I am a Buick guy, so the turbo cars hold a spot. I always wanted an Olds with a set of Lightning Rods. So, I dig em all. They are the last of the Mohicans. V8, body on frame, rear wheel drive....and a distant cousin to the GM A-body muscle cars.

I like the 83-88 Monte Carlo SS because of its connection with Nascar back then as with the other G bodies. The SS in 85 was what I bought because growing up I loved the Chevelle SS 454 and being able to buy a new SS from a dealer was my way of getting a piece of the SS legacy. Of course the performance was no where near the 454 SS, but in 85 the Monte was holding its own.

Our family owned a couple of Regals which were great vacation cars and 86 T Type my cousin had for a few years was a monster and faster then **** with some mods he did but his wife made him sell it after too many speeding tickets. I wish I had some extra money at that time and I would have bought his T Type in a second.
