looking at the interior and the picture of the bottom which shows the floors are in great shape $2,500 isn't too much to pay IMO. There is only damage is the right front fender and the right rear quarter panel has a dent.

$2,500 Canadian? That doesn't sound that bad if it runs and drives. The floors look much better than I would have guessed considering the dent rust.
It's a v6 car right?
If he were to ever consider parting it out that interior is in great shape, I'd be interested in the buckets, console and tilt column.
