Ended up pushing the Monte into DD status today. Trans on wifeys Impala is acting up and I refuse to put any money into it so she took my van and I am driving the Monte until I find her a new car. So todays task ( in-between calls at work ) is to sort out the choke on the car. Now if I can only find that post by Bonnewagon ..........

You are making me seriously jealous....:(

are you talking about this one?

Found out my '78 Buick 350 17058241 Quadrajet is actually an 800cfm model. Sweetness.

Over last while I've been pulling Landau top trim to strip and re-paint. Yesterday finished getting lock solenoids into doors-going with manual window but power locks so as to have keyless entry. Couldn't rivet in so it was rather a tedious task getting a couple of little bolts in there.
Speaking of tedious, doing the locks led me to the tangle of wires stuffed up under dash for stereo and RKE/alarm/kill system I used from another car......decided I need to take some time and extend some wiring and distribute more evenly so it isn't a ball of spaghetti top left of my steering column.
I should have done this long ago when I was putting dash and interior in but I was rushing....now I'm doing stuff again.
Pretty sure some of the positions I got into doing that have me and the car on intimate terms-solidly into third base at least

I swapped in 243 heads on my junkyard LQ4 and added a Summit SUMLSGT102 cam. I found several different pedal and TAC module setups that will work together. The last test run before the swap.
