Bob,
I always loved the '61 Olds body style... What a great looking car. I wouldn't mind a '61 Olds wagon.
Btw, I still have a few old yellow and blue NY tags hanging up in my garage.

Thanks Jack!
Wish I still had it. New York winters took their toll on that car. But I learned a lot about finding & refurbishing parts for a car that at the time was not popular.
You find a 61 Olds wagon, I still have a set of un-cut brake drums I found at a garage auction many years ago.

Thanks Bob,
Trying to find a '61 Olds 88 wagon is like trying to find the elusive unicorn... It's a rare bird.
The guy that I had bought the set of replacement doors for my wagon from, had a '61 Olds 4-dr...it was a sedan though, not a HT, but it was still a cool car with lots of potential. It was in really nice shape, too. Poor guy hoarded cars, but didn't live long enough to enjoy them.

Love that 55, I have built a few Tri 5 Chevys
My First "Hot Rod" was this 1970 Cuda I traded a Suzuki RM125 for back in 1977, See before i got my Drivers license i raced MotoX,and was always modding my bikes, soon as i got my license and discovered 4 wheels i left all that behind, and turned my attention to cars.
I got this thing from a friend, who had proceeded to mess it up so it wouldnt even run, it was ratty and black in color. But, it was a factory Hot Rod
having the Shaker Hood 440 -6 barrel engine, 4 speed and Dana rear, it had the rear Super Stock spring set up was also a Radio delete car! With some help from my Dad, we had it running and looking good shortly but It didnt take me long to move onto something else.. a 68 Camaro, i truly regret selling that Cuda, I sold it for 2,200. dollars, two thousand two hundred! ... in 1979, you know what that car is worth today? smh
yep thats a young me, sorry for the poor quality that pic is old!! you can also see the fender of my DD in the background, a 1972 Blazer!

I had a few Nova's and 73' and 75' Grand Ams but once I got my first Gbody which was my 78' GP I was forever hooked on Gbodies and my first engine build was a 400 SBC for my 81' Regal to replace the anemic V6 from there the engines kept getting bigger.
Gold and Chromes were big back then.

Love this car - it is so unique being a 2 door with the bubble top.

Yeah but you don't see as many as the 4 wheel drive ones. This one was fully loaded...and I mean everything right down to the factory concert sound speaker pods on the door panels. I used it to pull our 25' camper around the province...with the 383 and 3:42 rear it had no problems pulling whatsoever. I was driving/working on a 78 4x4 Blazer when I found this one. I'll have to see if I can find pics of it...had alot into that one too.
