Engine sounds good I'm just trying to get my engine together but when I do I'll be getting a vs racing s480 billet clone. Nothing but good I've heard about vs. very nice build btw

Thanks man. It can be a time consuming process lol. Vsr is great to deal with, Viren is a really great guy. He can get you anything you need. And the s480 clones have been making some serious waves lately. I hope you get it together soon.

It'll still be a bit need small parts for. The engine and I'm putting a back wagon roof on the regal. Then cage and tub. I'm hoping 2018 it'll be drive able until then there's still expensive parts to buy and lots of work. I'll make sure to watch this thread so I can live thru you while mines still in peices

Well guys, I reckon I've kept yall waiting long enough lol. Here it is, my new Ford 9in by quick performance. It's still in pieces but I should be able to get it together this weekend. All the parts finally came in this week. It's the quick performance gbody housing, I opted for the fill/drain plugs, the jack pad, adjustable lca mounts and extra gusseting inside around the center section.

The axles are 35 spline. The center section is the Yukon nodular iron case, daytona pinion support, solid shims, 35 spline HD drag spool with a 1350 billet yoke. I decided to go with the 3.25 gear set. It will help the turbo build boost with the extra load and also keep it from blowing the tires loose as easily.
Also I opted for the disc brake setup with parking brake.

Well, ive been cruisin google for the last few days like it was going out of style, trying to find a solution to getting the parking brakes working. Turns out, i have to get a different cable and clevis, universal cable from lokar and the clevis kit. Both kits from summit together for like $150 maybe. Hoping I have that sorted out now and just have to buy the parts.

Got my boost controller in today, I put that in, now I need to just run the boost reference to it when i install the coldside. I'm planning on assembling the rear tomorrow morning. Maybe some assembled pics for you guys? Planning on smoking some ribs tomorrow so that will kind of take up a good bit of my shop time lol. But Sunday I plan on getting more stuff done. Sundays usually seem like the best days for me anyway, not much going on etc.... Super bored tonight, should be working on the car but just didn't feel up to it. Been up since 4 doing that truck driver thing so needless to say I'm bushwhacked.

Well today my fiancee and me were able to get the 9in together and boy does it look beefy. I can't wait to get this thing underneath the car and take it for a ride. Now on to more things this week lol.
