That sucks dude!

Again, back to my "change the power antenna from hell" project but I put low-a masking tape on the door and fender edges so I wouldn't nick anything with the beyond tedious freakin crap don't get me started process involved, then went to pull the "LOW A MASKING" tape off when done [it did take a while] and . . . it took silver paint from both the fender and door with it. Now, just two tiny little places that only I will see . . . EVERY TIME I LOOK AT IT . . . but low adhesion masking tape is not supposed to do that! 3M supposedly high quality tape I paid extra for and everything. Yeah, over 30 year old paint and everything but holy crap!

So, short story long . . . I can relate!

A few snags along the way, but I got it stabbed.

Had to convert to carpenter mode since my 6 year old learned the lesson yesterday morning why jumping on the bed is a bad idea! She broke it good, but a quick trip to lowe's got me what i needed.

As in hotrodding...when something breaks, build it better and stronger!

Injectedcutty...nahh, not carpenter mode at all.
Think G Body's...you're boxing the frame and reinforcing the gussets to make it F41 option.

I grew a beard waiting for my kids to come over and help me move something heavy. So while I marked time I tackled a chore I have put off for years. When I installed the '94 Firebird seats I didn't notice that the headrest belt guides for the seat belts don't have a slot or any way at all to get the belts through without doing that BEFORE bolting them down. Ooops. So today I pulled out the seats and unbolted the stubborn seat belt floor bolts. Of course they were rusted in place and a torx socket is not easy to get some shoulder into. But after oiling both ends and hammering the torx socket into the bolts- they came out. After that it was easy peasy to get the belts off and insert them through the guides. MUCH better!
