On my 78 Salon, I'm going to upholster the trunk. I like some of the modern higher end plusher style dark gray trunk carpet. I can't decide whether I should do black like stock or modern plush dark gray. My theme on the car is original looking but lots of smoothing and custom touches that don't jump out at you. My trunk has been recoated black and the jack and donut spare are unused. I may be putting too much thought into this. Also the trunk opening is a lot smaller since it's an aero back body.
