I'm wiring up a pair of Intrepid fans for my Cutlass. This is a dual fan, dual speed configuration. I'd like to use temperature switches in my intake manifold to control the temps. I really don't want to use a fan controller with the probe that sticks in the radiator.

Can anyone recommend switches? I'm looking for 185 on / 175 off, and a 210 on / 195 off switches or something close to that range.

Thanks,
Austin

thank you for the feedback. There's a ton of information out there on suggested temps, I hear what you're saying though. Would a set of 195 / 210 switches be more appropriate?

if you are going to use a duel setting I would use the 210° to 195° and the other 220° to 205°

one other thing I would do is to turn the fans on when you turn the AC on if you have AC. As far as switches I didn't have good luck with the thermal switches so I put in an adjustable. I have both fans turn on the same time but you'd need two units to run the fans independent of each other.

Finally got the car running. Fans however are not coming on. I've tested my relay wiring. Jumped pin 30 to 87 and the fans run. Verified keyed power to pin 85, and checked continuity between pins 85 and 86. Also powered/grounded 85 and 86 to verify relay is operating. Everything looks good... Which leaves the temp switches themselves. What are the chances that both switches are no good?
