Well I done a thing tonight lol. Oh and my intercooler and piping kit came in today. So shiny...

Also the lime green hi-tech crankcase plug is patent pending so nobody get any ideas lmao.

Going to make a bracket for this intercooler this weekend. If i get this mounted to the car I will be content for the weekend and can move on to routing the pipes this week after work and stuff.

I don't think it woulda worked for that fmic, but while looking at the cx racing kit late last night, i saw how they mounted the ic which is pretty slick! This thing fits just right i think. The outlet pipe is a tad low, but this is the one i will most likely go with. Pics for reference....

I had been looking at theres to kinda get a reference as to where to mount it. Im going to utilize the upper bolts on the bumper bracket and make a frame sort of, out of square tubing.

Hey guys, sorry for such a late post. Meant to post updates i made today earlier but time got away from me. Managed to get the intercooler mounted in a good place. I made the brackets from 3/4" square tubing, and i made some for the under side that bolt to the core support. You cant see them in the pics, but I can post pictures upon request if anyone is interested in how they look. I decided to paint the brackets with VHT epoxy black. Figured it would hold up good under the front end like it is.

Nice looking mount. Simple yet elegant. Lol. Seriously, it looks good. I like it. You probably won't even notice the bracket when everything is put back together. Looks like that new welder is definitely earning its keep.

Thanks Opie. I managed to get some time in the shop this morning before work which doesn't happen often lol. I was able to reassemble everything after paint and put the bumper on to check for clearance. I have miles of room as far as I'm concerned. Also the intercooler doesn't sit too low below the bumper either.
And please excuse my mess, it's been very hectic in the shop lol.

Ordered some stuff last night. All the stuff i need to finally get the 9in under the car, control arms, shocks, also got new drag radials for the rear, firewall kit for the trunk. Nearly everything but a few small things and my driveshaft. Cant measure for that until I get the rear mounted. Im excited to get this thing back on all fours again! Im sure the jackstands will be glad to take the load off lmao!

I got my intercooler piping done saturday night, installed all the clamps, installed bung and IAT sensor today (these arent in the pics). Today I managed to get my rear back under the car but did not get a chance to take a picture, my phone died lol. Going to hopefully set the car back on the ground this week sometime. Didnt get as much time this weekend to do all that i wanted but got a big part done.
