Don't have any experience with tubular A-arms.Getting ready to pull the old stuff and got to looking at the uppers...I'm assuming the design of the tubular uppers no upper bushings are needed when we install them?

Most aftermarket tubular uppers (and lowers) come with bushings pre-installed. If they're designed with bump-stops, those are usually in already as well. Some manufacturers even sell units with ball joints pre-installed. Be sure to check your item description.

If this is the package you bought unless you only going to only use the car and the drag strip I would not use the rear uppers. The rear uppers need a joint on one side so the car twist

You could even just get some rubber ones or polygraphite from PST.

The uppers that bolt to the frame are rubber and the bushings for the rearend are too.Is that what you mean. The ultimate drag pack lowers do have solid bushings for track use...thats why we went with this kit.
