Spent 3 bucks at the car wash and hosed off a bit around the car and knocked a ton of the dust off.

Its still back home in MN, dad is going to do a quick tuneup on it and try to get the idle sorted out.

It does have a small dent on the passenger door I noticed

Front seat is mint

Little paint flakes

4 doors more... people

Missing a hub cap. It even has wheel locks haha!

When I say it's stock i mean it. Still has the factory cat and air pump, everything!

The car is back with Dad in MN. He has been working on getting it running a bit better, drove it to work a few times. Thought it was plugs and wires making it run a bit rough but it's probably a vacuum leak in the EGR.

Dad also got the AC working. Changed the orphise tube and filled it with r134 but the clutch is toasted in the compressor so thats gotta get fixed.

Nothing big for updates unfortunately. There is a pair of 4.1 buicks an hr away from me (one complete with a spun main, another shortblock) that I might pick up. Was going to boost the 3.8 but I found out the cast 3.8 pistons only hold about 250hp from what I read. Might just put all my efi turbo parts on this 4.1 and drop in it in one shot in a weekend. Kinda still up in the air.

Blake, you can have the 3 I have, the 4th one was missing when I bought it. I have my pontiac ralleys with tires off the 2+2 I am going to put on it asap anyways until I get tires for my t type vectors. The tires on this car are all in decent shape but all different brands.

So I probably shouldn't have but I bought 2 semi core 4.1's today. It's the first time I have seen 4.1's for sale, they weren't super expensive, only an hour away, kinda wanted the 4 barrel for the wagon in the mean time until I turbo it, blah blah blah.

It is a complete rebuilt 4.1 with like 3000 miles on that is stuck. Guy said he was going down the road and it just siezed. I am probably going to get it on an engine stand and check the crank out. He said one of the rods was welded on when he built it and he guessed the weld broke loose. But it has an aftermarket mild erson cam, its the good 4.1 block 291 all the turbo buick guys want, its complete, fresh everything inside, seemed like a decent buy.

Other one was "stuck" but rumored to have a good crank. I took the 5 pistons it had out and it measured at 10 under on the rods. The #2 piston was missing so i am going to see if that cleans up to 10 under since its kinda rusty. If it does I will just slap that in the 4.1 and throw my turbo parts on that since it already has the rolled fillet crank and the turbo 2 dot rods. I think the bore on that shortblock is 20 over also. It's a 484 block which has thin webs on the head bolts to the coolant passages and are more likely to crack but this one besides the surface rust is in good shape.
