Drove to work yesterday and put about 70 miles or so as met friends at nearby dive for dinner. It rained so had muddy road on way home. Since converting to stick a whole new dimension of driving and enjoyment

Returned from a week long business trip last night, so I had quite a bit to catch up on with the car this morning.

Installed my brake drums that my wife had turned for me while I was gone and adjusted the new rear shoes.

Installed a set of wheels and 235/60/15R tires on the rear.

Finished installing all of the rear portion of trim and headliner, freshly dyed black.

Wired in a PicknPull dome light (my car didn't have one when I bought it). Map lights don't work, but the bulbs look good...

Started wiring up my Dakota Digital VHX gauges. By wiring, I mean I only got to the power/ground/illumination wires so I could see it turn on. It looks great!

Fiddled with my alignment and realized I lost a caliper mounting bolt on the road last time I was out. :puke:
Time for new bolts. And Loctite. And maybe an exorcism.

Took the beater grudge car for a loop around the area. Local PD was eyeballing me pretty hard when I had to pop the trunk lid off to fill the fuel cell up with e85 at the nearest station. Three cruisers appear in the parking lot after I pull in, the ranking officer (here its a Sargent) was standing right outside the store when I came out, he had just grabbed a cold drink. He asks "you're not gonna get into any trouble with that thing are you?" Kind of caught me off guard, he said "I noticed the slicks, then I noticed it was you (we have made multiple high profile incidents with him at work)....

He continued "I told the guys to leave you alone, let me know if they hassle you when I am not around. Now tell me about this thing and why it's on...is that ethanol gas?"

I've had a wheel brake free when a caliper bolt fell out on my ls1 brakes. Caliper twisted, wedged, pushed the rotor out of plane and broke the studs. Wheel came off @ 65 mph.
