They are doing the exhaust in their shop. I got a header back kit and Magnaflow mufflers/tips to match the outlet size of the manifolds, and they have their guy & welder coming in to make a pipe from the manifolds back and notch the cross member on the drivers side for duals. They usually send everyone to Mieneke on Brick Blvd in Brick for exhaust work. They know everyone there for years and they do good work. 732-965-3313. I've also used the Mieneke on Atlantic City Blvd in South Toms River too and never had a problem.

My shop is On Point Automotive - 848-232-1850. They can help you or steer you in the right direction too.

I used to live a block away from Atlantic in Point - the shop that's doing my car (On Point) is in Point too. I pass by Andrews a few times a week, its funny! Maybe I'll bring my Jeep by and see if you guys can fix the doors they don't close so well since it got hit. NO damage you can see, just seems like the doors are pushed in a little and you have a hard time opening and closing them.

Probably overkill for a 307 but my 260 liked Sanderson shorties and 2.5" exhaust. Pypes does make down pipes that work with early manifolds. Supposedly the the angle is slightly different on the Thornton manifolds and the down pipes need minor grinding.

A few delays waiting on some last minute parts, but the motor should be going in today, on target to have the car back before July 4. G-Body Parts has been awesome shipping us out parts fast for the build - they've saved us a few times. The other thing we found and had to re-do was mounting the manifolds metal to metal - there are some gaps in there where there is not a good seal, so they came off and gaskets where put in. So far so good!

Good to know about needing gaskets with those manifolds. What HEI is that?
