So no one have a diagram of the wiring? That is what I am asking for if anyone misunderstood.
I have searched online I can't find it. Car is just sitting up because of this issue. Would love to get it finished...

Thank you for any help.

Wire up the starter? It's pretty self explanatory. Here's a pic from my Haynes Manual. It's for an 83-84 Regal, so it should work.

Do you have a normal q jet for a CC qjet with the blue and black plugs?

When I took the Buick 231 V6 out of my 1980 Grand Prix and replaced it with a Chevy 454, I bought a new OEM-style starter for the V8. I then used the exact same starter wires and attached them in the exact same way they had been with the V6. It practically fell together--there were no instructions needed for this part of the operation.

Yeah I understand it is supposed to be easy. This is my first swap. And time has played a toll. All my tags i had marking wires are unreadable now. That is why I ask this quesiton. By that book (thank you for posting that) it says my igntiion is a purple wire; yet I don't have a purple wire :(

Thank you for helping guys it is very appreciated.

If I buy a Book for the car will it have Every wire inside it telling me what it is? If so I have no issue buying one.

Should have no issue buying one regardless. It details all the car's electrical systems. I got mine off Amazon for like 25 bucks. Haynes are better than Chilton imo. Even better would be a chassis manual from back in the day.
