As i mentioned in the other thread, i believe there might be interference issues with the crossmember and the motor mounts.

Most guys from what I've seen use the camaro or vette drive system which mounts the compressor up top.

FWIW, I'm using LS swap adapter plates to use the factory clamshells, and i had to grind down one of the bosses used to mount the compressor. Holley seems to have some trick swap stuff, albeit pricey!

HMMM I have the Holley mounts but I havent tried to see if they interfere with the compressor yet. I will have to play with that this weekend. Ill post what I come up with

When I studied this there where no mounts available that provide clearance to the frame for the low mount compressor. With that said, you can notch the frame for clearance...I just chose not to and used the Holley brackets for factory (top passenger side) compressor location. I went with the Sanden compressor option because it is far better than the leaky POS R4 compressors our G bodies came with.

It will hit the frame with Holley mounts but many have notched the frame with success. Get out your plasma torch and welder!

Do you have part number for the Sanden compressor?

Yes, I used Sanden SD7 with suffix B10. The SD7 series is rated up to 9000 RPM
Here is an ebay link. Note the prices on these things are all over the place. I bought mine for around $135 If I remember correctly.

Then of course you can buy it through Holley for a premium....Part # 199-102
Interestingly enough, I often travel to Ramos Arizpe Mexico for work and there is a Sanden plant is there. I could probably have bought one for $75 USD
