Hi! I'm awaiting instructions from the list owner before going all commercial here, but I will tell you the cool thing about the Window Turbo is it is less expensive than a single side motor replacement and it can be installed in 10 minutes, it is merely plug in plus one ground wire to attach. No mods to the vehicle, no harness cutting, no door panel removal, and if you have ever replaced a window regulator/motor assy as I have, it eliminates that PITA. And one unit runs both windows AND the moonroof if so equipped. Here are more videos...if any of you know of Richard Clark, you know he is no BS, and he is demonstrating the Window Turbo in these videos: http://www.turbobuick.com/threads/window-turbos-are-available-for-purchase.438100/

I clicked on that link and there is alot of unhappy guys posting about that product. Also on that link the price is $140 but on the link in your first post it's $174.90. I'd like to see some reviews of the product from real people who actually bought the product.

and I googled "turbo power windows" and nothing comes up about that product.

I think the only complaint back then (early 2016) was availability, the initial demand was so high it far outstripped production, and the $140 was a special introductory price. As far as I know there has not been a single complaint regarding performance. So far just about all have been sold to the Buick TR crowd, so this is what is on Facebook about it:

I really want to hear from the forum owner before spending more time talking it up, but thanks for the query!

Cheers!

Hi Turna!

I go to the Buick May Nationals at RCG too, I was a vendor at the 2016 one. I had a scheduling conflict this year, but Richard was selling the Window Turbos for me there. I am near Burlington, NC, and only sell them on-line other than some car shows. I have worked with Richard for 30 years now, I was the Dir. of Engineering at AMI, the optical disc plant where he was President.

I'd apologize for the website, but this is a side business for me and I haven't spent a lot of time developing it, I primarily design switching power supplies for communications equipment and other electronics. I designed the Window Turbo after hearing Buick owners complain about how slow the windows were, and I set up that website for them to order through, so that has basically been my market so far... I do not have a brick and mortar store which is why I do not give an address, but I include my address and phone number in the manual which accompanies the Window Turbo so if anyone who has bought one has a question they can call me, but will never again post my tel number on a website...talk about getting lots of unwanted solicitations! "Congratulations! You have won an all expenses paid..." or " This is Microsoft calling, there is a problem with your computer..." followed by me hanging up... I offer a full money-back guarantee for any reason, but have never had to refund one out of hundreds sold so far. If you want to discuss this in more detail, let's start a "conversation" as this forum calls them!

Cheers!
Howie

Are 'wire cuts' required to install the "Turbo Window" setup or is it 'plug & play'?

I didn't see it listed on Amazon and was wondering why it wasn't available for sale over there?

No wire cutting it is indeed just one plug and one ground screw. Regarding Amazon: in my other company ventures I do business on Amazon, and selling there is costly: a monthly fee plus a percentage of your sales. If you do not sell equal to the cost you end up sending them money each month, but if you have a steady business it works out to the positive. With the Window Turbo, it is a back-burner project and not worth it at this point in time.

Cheers!
Howie
