Jack, your right about the visor area, they always seem to be in bad shape.
These are good tips! I'm glad I'm getting a course on repair vicariously through you Jim ;)! My board is cracked at the visor mounts as well and I was planning on using fiberglass mesh and epoxy for the repair. They make aftermarket boards for us coupe guys, but for $100 I can't justify it when I have the material to fix mine. That $$ can go to new headliner and visor material.
Looking forward to seeing the results buddy!

Lol

Well, I got the front board done.
I'm going to try and get it installed tomorrow after work if it's not raining. If not tomorrow, then Saturday.

It looks like it came out nice, Jim.
How did the adhesive spray out?

It sprayed out good with this cheap gun I have. I'm pleased, out of wagons, this will be the first with a headline.

Did you use a conventional spray gun....and were you able to clean it afterwards?
Well, I guess the upholstery guys have a system to clean out their equipment.

Got out last night after work, and put the hushmat on the cargo area (under the floor on the body), and some of the roof.

That gun looks like it was made for that purpose. A conventional gun, even with a large tip would clog up in no time at all.

It kinda reminds of the funky sprayguns(back in the day) that you hooked up to your vacuum cleaner.
