Will the CCC system and Carburetor from a 3.8 be able to fuel a 4.3 without issues? I would like to retain the stock setup if possible.

Clone TIE Pilot should be able to answer your question and tell you why if it can or can't

Actually it might do OK BUT you need either a EFI or CCC 4.3 chevy v6 distributor. I used a sbc tbi 350 set up on an Olds 350 but needed an Olds 307 distributor. The big cap HEI uses the 7 pin module and the small cap, remote coil uses the 8 pin module. The only difference is the eighth black wire is ground. They use the same colours, just a different connector. It can be made to work but may run lean.

I figured I would be buying an intake and distributor regardless. Are the computers different between a 3.8 and 4.3 system, or is it just carb jetting?

The timing curve will no doubt be different as well I had to add 20 degrees advance over the lazy swirl port sbc curve.

3.8 Chevy (229) there should be no problem. Buick 3.8 (231) not the same.

The 229 chevy will probably fit, the 231 Buick will not.
