Need to see how/where it mounts to the LCAs. The spacer brackets also have a little hook on them, what's it for? Pics of factory rear swaybar setups would be really helpful. Thanks.

I'm happy helping G Body people, when I can. I've gotten lots of help here myself.

did you get those pictures when you were rustproofing your car getting it ready for the winter?...:D
Looks that way, doesn't it, eh? Rustproofing thanks to the previous owner/owners. I'm thankful they were crazier than I will ever be. Even the inside of the aluminum rims were oil coated.

The " hook" faces up and is there to provide proper spacing so the bolt holes line up.

Is there a specific location for the holes, or just put it somewhere where the bar isn't contacting anything and is evenly mounted on both arms?

The OEM bar aligns with the rear edge of the diff housing. I assume changing the mounting position on the LCA would tune how effective the bar is. Basically it's all about levers and the bar's resistance to twisting.

I think you would have to be next to a god to notice the sway bar not being exactly in the right fore/aft position.
It kinda wedges forward into position as the lower arms angled in towards each other, so it can only go in one place anyways.

The real question is, and I might be missing this completely. Did cars without factory sway bars not have the holes in the lowers to mount them?
