Torque converter preferences

It looks like I need a new torque converter in my 442. What are you guys running for a lock-up converter? I have a trans from Extreme Automatics. I asked him, but he just said he doesn't use Edge Performance converters anymore.

I have a Circle D 2800 stall on my LS swap. Couldn't be happier. It drives normal until you put your foot into it.
Looks like they don't build one for the 200R4 :(
Im using an fti converter.
Which one do you run? The billet is a bit pricey, so I'm leaning toward the Street Brawler series. Do you run a switch or do you have a controller?

We are using a the Billet FTI with a single clutch. Lockup is presently on a switch. Dead stalls just below 3K and flashes to 3800. Works great and makes you want to just abuse the tires :)

I put the stock D5 lockup converter that came with my 87 GN th200-4R and I am impressed for a factory converter. It has good pull whatever the rpm range is i'm not sure but I think around 1800-2000 rpm stall? it is strong off the line and locks up at 45 mph and is very smooth when 1:1 ratio.

The factory turbo car D5 is a good converter for a car that makes good torque around 2400 RPM.

For a TPI 350 it should be about perfect for driveability with performance.

I looked at Rock Auto, they list a Dacco B15CED and B15CBD? They are only $125. I don't want to break the bank, but that seems pretty inexpensive.

I used the PATC(Raptor) base converter 2200-2500 stall. It flashed at 2300 behind my 350 and was under $200. I also had the rated at 400 or 500 hp Oregon Performance 2000-2600, flashed at 2400 stall behind my not even 300 hp 403 converter, came apart inside at the track. The D5 is supposed stall at 2000+, even behind the original 307. I know the factory D9 lower stall flashed at 1900 behind my 350 and 403.
