that's awesome man could you give some details on how you went about changing it? Donor car, paint, etc...
I bought the seats first which are made by Cerullo and mounted them both to GM power units and I also bought a few extra yards of material from Cerullo and had the rear seats and visors reupholstered and the remaining material I used to make the upper door panels and headliner, the carpet is from ACC and most of the interior plastic I repainted using SEM camel and black landau.

Greetings Zghorner & all; I gotta say again how much I like 565 BB's interior. Since you are dream in' of tan interiors have you seen my post? And mine is tentatively for sale, on & off for the last 10 years as I'm gettin' too old to keep pace. The car is included with the interior for the next owner. Good luck, Ole' Bob.

Greetings Zgorner & all; Why yes I do, that's why I'm here. Trying to fine a new owner that's as unusual as the car. And get half my money back out of it??? I'll try to post a path. https://gbodyforum.com/threads/the-bronze-brick-a-very-unusual-9c1.54363/
Be sure you're setting down when you look at my asking price. I understand that J.J. Best loans money on unusual (?) collector - hobby cars. And one more tid bit, GM produced a lot less of these 2 door 9C1's than any GNX, turbo this or that, SS's, 442's, (did I forget any?). But who the heck wants an ole' police car anyway?? Good luck on your search & thanks for asking, OLe' Bob.

I'm biased maybe but think black/gray is the best color combo for pure looks available in the SS :), but black or white/saddle in an SS is very sharp. I used to see saddle interior SS's around here (upper Midwest) often enough back in the day when I'd see more driving around so I don't consider it "rare" but unique. If I had one in those combo's I'd have to keep the stripes. If I may ramble on, as for other combo's I think gray is more common in silver cars than maroon, but maroon with gray interior is probably as "rare" as the saddle interior SS's.

I have a white 85 and a black 85 both have the maroon interior. Im keeping the white one forever so Im doing the interior in black. I have leather front seats out of a cobalt that I really like and reupholstered the rear one in black vinyl and they match real good.
Nice looking car by the way BBChevy
