I don't know if I touched base on this but over the weekend I found out that I don't have the correct size socket for the wheel bearing nuts on an early one ton Chevy so this morning my snap on man came in and I handed him the nut and said I need the socket for this. Well $94.00 later I don't need to use a cold chisel to put them on like I took them off hopefully I can get a chance to use it this weekend

Sorry guys I just can't seem to get anything done on this thing. Last Saturday I spent the day putting a 3.7 in a Jeep for the secretary at work with one of the other body men and the preper. She's an elderly woman and just went on disability so it was a given. I did it sick as a dog so Sunday I was down for the count. This weekend I had big plans for the crew cab and the 78 Cutlass but now it looks like I'll be plowing snow instead. Maybe next weekend I can get something done. I've got to tell you winter in the Northeast with no shop of your own sucks!

My contract dried up a couple of years ago, and I haven't had much enthusiasm to find more work. Run the blower up and down the driveway a few times and throw a pot of soup on the woodstove; I'm good with that.

So it's a given car guy's are generally nuts. So what do you do with 18" of snow on the ground? ....sell your truck! Lol so not kidding I went out plowing this week and made out good my dispatcher ran me! Wall ocean Grove Middletown then Howell 16 painful hours for me and the truck

then this morning a dealer from northwestern Jersey showed up at my house and bought the truck for a little less money than I wanted but I let it go because I noticed that the trans was leaking badly from the front pump probably do to the recent beatings.
Now I have until Monday morning to make the square body my daily driver with no shop outside in 18" of snow with no help
