Was 87 the only year for the Camino to get the 2004r?

Been looking around to pick one up everything I see has a TH350 trans except the 87.

I should also say as well I have only been looking at V-8 models.

My 86 El Camino had the 2004r which was behind a 305. It was a non Choo Choo Customs SS.
I believe it was an option with the 305 starting in 86.

I looked a an 86 factory V-8 had a th350 in it

Must have been an option.
