I noticed I haven't seen tobyp on the forums at all lately, says he hasn't logged on in 35 weeks. Is he still around? He was one of my go-to guys for hard to find parts. Anyone know?

Im pretty sure he was driven away from this forum. The guy could do nothing right in some peoples' minds here. We have a guy trying to reproduce hard to find parts and people still have to b*tch. He was a cool dude. I made the 8 hour round trip to his house once and bought an 8.5 off of him. A shame he's gone that's for sure
I somehow missed the drama-threads, so I don't really know what happened. (Let's not play back the story. Some tales aren't worth retelling.) That said, he leveraged work to ship an axle and a rebuilt transmission across half the country to me for about $100 each trip. So, I too am a fan.
Yeah I bought my bumper fillers off of him for a decent price. I missed the drama as well, but I always thought he was a cool guy.
He was the driving force behind the Goodmark cowl hood that I have on my car. He is still active on turbobuick as tobygoodmk.
great guy, and just as great in person as he was online.... hate that the drama drove him away... IIRC he left his e-mail address behind in case anyone wanted to get in touch with him....

Well said. Toby was a key contributor to the G body community but some people had it out for him.....Jealousy? IDK.
