So the stock radiator saddles... bushings.. mounts... whatever they're called, are not long enough for a 3 or 4 core rad. What is the solution? I have some cheesy universal ones, but is there anything else out there?

I had a 4 core in one of my El Caminos with the proper cushions...they must be out there somewhere.

I used the poly ones I just posted. Some mods required. The rubber ones may be your best bet.

The stock saddles should fit if youre using a factory style radiator. Im using a 4 row and the saddles are the same as the 2 row that came in the car. I do know that they dont work with any of the aluminum radiators out there. The tanks are wider. I bought a Griffin exact fit and it still had different size tanks. I went back to a copper/brass 4 row.

When I installed my 4-core Champion aluminum radiator, I re-used my stock V6 radiator rubber saddles. I had to 'open up' their grooves until they fit over the fat end tanks of the Champion, but that just too some time with an exacto knife. Once I was done, the radiator dropped right into place.
