Hi All. For some of you, I'm sure your G-Body (or G-Bodies!) is your daily driver. But I imagine for most of us, it's a hobby car. I'm just curious what y'alls daily driver is? Right now, mine's a 2004 Chevy Avalanche 1500 Z71. Bought it used with 163,000 miles. Put a few bucks into fixing it up a little, but it runs great, no complaints. Just prior to that, I had a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo. I sold that several months ago in anticipation of a Tesla Model 3 I have reserved.

But who knows when I'm actually going to get it. If you've been following the story at all, that model has had production delays one after another. I was supposed to get it February, but it's looking like May-August at this point. If I have to wait longer than that, I may ask for my deposit back. If that falls through, not sure what I'll get. May hang on to the Avalanche for a few more years. I work from home, so thankfully fuel economy isn't a huge concern. Otherwise, I'd be hatin' life with a 12 mpg average!

My daily year round driver is my 2003 Taurus fully loaded with leather interior that just hit 60,000 miles (bought it off a little old lady in 08)
On nice days I drive my 94' Lincoln that I modified, I made my own strut kit and lowered it and put on 17" rims, I also made the ground effects for it and added Addco sway bars and made a trio gauge pod that holds additional digital gauges and some other subtle mods etc.

<-------- Wagon or the dually...97 F350 Powerstroke. Only 342000 miles!

Have been toying with the idea of selling everything and buying something newer and just being able to make little changes here and there...all the projects are kinda getting me down. Usually reading this board snaps me out of it though.

Here's a pic of my humble daily driver. A '95 Olds Ciera 3.1 with approx. 32,000 original miles. It was purchased from my 90 yr old next door neighbor at the time with 18,000 miles.

My mom owned a ‘90 Century sedan with the 3300 V-6 for many years. Probably the most favorite car she’s ever owned. Was actually pretty quick with that V-6. Only weighed something like 2,900 lbs. I think Corollas weigh that much now!

These cars used to be all over the place. I do still see them quite frequently, though...the Cieras and Centurys. I would've liked the wagon version, but the price was right and I knew the history of the car.
What I don't like about the car is that there's no gauges monitoring oil pressure, water temp, volts, etc...except an idiot gauge for water temp.. .
