I thought I would weld up my own and made a pattern. Then I decided to just go to work a few more days and just buy one. Well, that didn't work out, either. Yet.

Stay tuned...

I will never buy another Jeg "Jegster" trans crossmember; my headers' collectors wouldn't even fit in those little openings. G-Force/Summit is the only trans crossmember that I've bought since then, and it feels way more sturdy and had offered much more clearance for my headers' collectors.

I like the G-force,it's a stout piece.i did a frame off on my car with new bushings/solid frame/body and it's still almost touching the floor pan.that tubular iceman cross member was to flimsy.

Here's a pic of my early Iceman x-member that I have for my 200-4R swap. It's an obvious knockoff of the G-force member.

Quinn, what is the center to center of the humps on the Jeg's 700R4 crossmember? I asked Jegs through the link on the product page, and they didn't know? :wtf:

I bought a G-force crossmember years ago. It flat out wouldn't fit. Maybe they sent me the wrong one but it was NOT gonna fit. I wasn't happy. Besides I thought it was way more heavy than it needed to be for no reason I can see. I sent it back and notched the factory crossmember. Perfect factory fit and 156 pounds lighter than the G-force so win win.

Bought a summit racing / g force one. Bought it when i went from bop th350 to 200r4. No problems other than being an 83 and needing the weird little extension piece. Did do all new body mounts the previous year.
