To me the high dollar specialty stuff seems to sell better on Ebay

I can think of a few later Muscle cars that if they were NOS fenders they would sell for $6K-10K/pair, especially the ones with integral headlight structures. '71 Cuda Fenders, for example.

For something worth $3K, he doesn't seem too interested in selling it, with the one crappy picture.

You would think he would have at least posted pictures of the original GM stickers he says are there.

They're not even really NOS, they're late service replacements.

Not sure about the GM stuff, but the Mustang guys don't think much of the late e-coated "NOS" fenders, they want the red primer ones, the ones stamped when the cars were still pretty new.

Mopar NOS sheet metal was the semi-flat black e-coat like finish. In the late '80's a dealership was cleaning out their NOS parts and had a '70 'Cuda Header panel. 1 year only spot welded together structure.

Me - I'll give you $400. Dealership - Sold!

Take it home, a day later I get a call from the owner of the dealership. He had promised it to a local mopar douchebag with no money who let a 440-6 'cuda rust away to nothing in his driveway (which is why it was still at the dealership... he had been trying to scrounge up $400 for weeks).

Me - Sure. $500 (because I knew where it was going and it didn't deserve that fate). The Dealer sent a guy to my house with $500.

I have a spare pair of NOS brake drum backing plates for our cars with the GM stickers still on them, guess I could sell them for $500 or trade them for a mint dash pad.

those fenders would go great with my original 68 deluxe seat covers.... think I could e-mail the guy and offer them as a package deal and split the massive profit?
