I am getting ready to mount tank and run fuel lines. I have some 6AN hose and fittings. I am going to use the stock fuel tank and looking at the lines coming out it’s going to be a PITA to get it over the fuel supply line. My question is 6 an good enough for a 400 hp engine? I can get 8 an but it’s pretty expensive and already have the 6. The car will be a cruiser but may hit the local strip a time or two.

6an is 3/8" and the fuel line in a stock Gbody is 5/16" so you won't have any problems feeding your engine. When I changed the lines in my GP I put the connection point for the tank in front of the tank so if I have to remove the tank it's easy to removed the lines and then drop the tank.

#6 and a 110 pump is fine. Maybe add in a lightweight pushrod too for the pump. I had 3/8 steel line with a Holley 110 pump in my nova with 10:1 355, 195 afr heads and a .535/.550 hydraulic roller.
