Yes I admit it I am a Craigslist junkie. I can spend hours looking at adds for cars just to see what other people are selling. And it all types of cars imports domestic it doesn't matter to me cause I am a junkie. I recently stumbled on to a search engine called search tempest. On this site you can search a large area just put in a search radius and it gives you results for all the cities in that area

minding my own business yesterday I found a British Racing Green '98 V8 Jag with only 40K miles for $2,900. It took all of my willpower not to call the guy. If its still there in a week, I may have to unplug my computer until it sells.

Join the club. If I ever hit the powerball, I could spend it all in a few hours on Craigslist.

Permanent Temporary
Craigslsit keeps adding new features to view postings. But I'm old school...I like watching via the Waterfall Kanji a la The Matrix...I still hit 'auto parts' and scroll down 10-12 pages. Fewer if I stuck the needle in more recently.

For me, it's interesting to see what's for sale -- hell, I found my Cutlass via searchtempest -- but more interesting to find gems such as:
  • "only rolled-over once"
  • only picture? Car is in the background of a "here's the happy couple before they head-off to prom" with a big smilie face superimposed over their heads
  • "enough torque to rip-out more tree stumps in an hour than Paul Bunyan could in a year"
