That is a good ratio for a 3 spd car in the late 70's, the 442 used a 2.73 gear in 79 and 80.

Very nice looking car. I don't think it can honestly be referred to as a 'barn find.' The price does seem high but you have to start high on Craigslist. Most buyers want the world for peanuts. If it is as clean as it looks, through and through, what a nice car to start with.
Well, that's subjective.... an attractive color- much more. As nice as it is, it looks like a Quaker Oats company car.
