I also have been running Norton for many years on my laptop and never had any issues

Webroot's good. It's a paid thing, but you can just not renew it. You can buy it online or as an install disc and put it on upto 3 or 4 devices I think, depending on the version. It's very good at catching stuff, blocking "unsavory" websites, it you have the web extension it installs, it gives you the little Red, Yellow, or Green things next to the website to tell you how much computer STDs it may give you. This site is Green. :p
It's relatively cheap for the base version, and I basically never even know it's there. It runs scans automatically without screaming at you to do the scan yourself. You can of course turn that off, but I like the automatic way.

2 for Webroot and 2 for Norton...they both have free trials so I think I'll try then out and see which one I like. Thanks....:)
