I frayed my new Holley Sniper. A wire in my feed harness burned up and probably the ECM. Checked all my wiring again and can not see anything I could have done wrong. I think it might have faulty wiring from the factory. What a nice end of the day!

Installed my junkyard jounce bars and 1 1/4 GN bar I got a while back. Car is noticeably stiffer and flatter in the turns.

Yep. There is a "GP" bar as well, that just goes from left to right frame rails, but it's hard to find. UMI makes a one piece dealy that is pretty neat.

kinda pricey tho. I paid a collective $6.62 for my bars + bolts.
I’d rather scour the salvage yards and catch a deal like you got. I need to do something though. I’m pretty sure my suspension is all original. In other words it sucks lol

Replacing all the moving components goes a long way. Thicker sway bars, added reinforcements, etc, are just icing on the cake.

Decided I no longer wanted a fire hazard (and had the time to do so), so I got rid of the rubber hose and glass filter. I had a spare pump to carb line, but it was for a points engine so it needed some finessing to get it to fit nicely around the distributor. I cut it in two pieces because my carb is on a 1/2" spacer and the line wouldn't reach the carb. It's not pretty, but it works. I also hooked up the junkyard charcoal canister. Seems to be working. No more gas smell, gas cap doesn't poot at me when I take it off after a drive. It does need a new filter though. Ordered it (because of course they don't carry them in store), so it will be picked up tomorrow. Next thing on my list is installing a replacement temp gauge, whenever it gets here. Maybe i'll install a temp sender so the WATER light will work, maybe also pull the SERVICE ENGINE SOON bulb. Eventually.

I ordered an received an adapter plate for the TBI, since my 454SS adapter was just making everything too tall to fit. I had to grind down the 3 bolts to flush on the bottom, since this adapter moves the throttle body forward of center on the intake hole. Apparently, there is adapters for the center, forward and rearward positions. The forward adapter seemed to work with aftermarket 4 barrel throttle cable mounts.
