I picked up some weld draglites 15x7 4.5" bs (or so I was told, maybe its 5.5 based on how they fit?) and a pair of 15x5 3.5" bs. I put 255/60r15 mt et streets and 205/65r15s up front. The rears fit well, but they tuck way into the quarters and I needed to run a small shim spacer or they'd rub on the frame. The fronts don't hit but they tuck in pretty far as well. Whatever the case, they'll do much better than slicks for my 500 mile weekend. I'm leaving today for Maryland in the rain.

I guess you're heading down to OC? Be careful- fines can be levied up to $1000 during the event. Look out for the bicycle cops

i have 2 malibus both with a 15x8 rallye wheel. they are 4" backspace which perfectly centers rim in wheel well . i have one car on a 255/60/15 no rubbing ,did not roll lips on quarter. my other car is a 275/60/15 that does not rub frame , lips have been rolled and so has the quarted trim. a 275 even with a perfect 4" backspace will sometimes contact the quarted lip . my trim and lip were done by previoes owner . he made a series of releif slices about every 3/4" of an inch rolled up the lips and trim together then used short sheet metal screws on each releif to make sure they stay put. you cannot even tell it was done unless you look inside the well

Yes, I went down for cruisin ocean city this past weekend. I left in the pouring rain Thursday and those mt et streets were amazing. No issues cruising at 70-75mph on the highway in the rain. Not to mention, they hook pretty damn good too!
