I to inherited a 85 El Camino when my dad passed, my brother and I were going to sell it and I just couldn't do it being it was in the family since 1987. So I've been building it over the last 8 months. I'm glad I kept it, I get nothing but thumbs ups and people telling me what a beautiful card is constantly.

Welcome to the forum and that is a great looking El Camino. It's awesome that your dad had you to pass the El Camino onto who will appreciate it. It's obvious by the condition of the El Camino that your dad had a passion for the truck and it looks like he made good use of it.....:)

What a nice gift and a way to remember your dads' legacy. How could you not remember him every time you get behind the wheel.

Welcome to the forum, guys. How 'bout posting some pics of those cool cars.

Welcome to the site! Camino looks great! I think it's great that it was your dads and that he left it to you!
