I have a 2002 lsx Motor from a 2002 Chev pickup with the cruise control module.

I am looking for help wiring this up in my 83 elcamino. I want to use the factory cruise control wiring /switch with it.

Thx

Extend the blue, gray, and gray/black from the PCM to the steering column. Cut the car side of the stalk plug where you can splice it, and provide 12 ign to the 4th wire (yellow?). It's pretty easy.

Off of the cruise control module itself? Is that what PCM is?

Ok thanks.

I really read through that and I have it all wired up now.

Thanks for your input again.
FYI

The set button on the original cruise control on my 83 El Camino provides full time power unless the set button is being pushed. Which is the opposite of what you need on this 2002 pickup cruise control. To get around this, I used a relay to reverse the signal so that 12 v was applied when the set button is pushed.

Also. The cruise switch only has three wires. The 12v supply and two outputs for the Set and Resume/accelerate buttons. There is No 12 volt out that can be used to turn the cruise module on. The only thing I came up with is just supplying ignition power in its place.

Does anyone else have a better idea for the on/off for the cruise module?

Thx for the help in getting this working

:banana:I am finally ready for a test drive:banana:
