I have a few bird feeders in my backyard as many people do, and I get the usual assortment of Cardinals, Blue Jays, Mourning Doves and a few others. About 3 weeks ago, I started getting a couple female turkeys every few days at the feeder. Well I guess they told their boyfriends about the feeder because the following week, they began showing up with 3 toms. Now they've begun living in the woods immediately behind the yard, and they stroll around the backyard all day, and drive my dogs crazy.

Plus I've got tons of rabbits and deer and racoons that I can't get rid of. Its like Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom in my backyard.

Check out the smartass showing off his feathers-

Looks like a regular nature preserve back there, Joe.
It's nice to see wildlife, but not the pesky kind.
Nice pics.

I enjoy having the wildlife around, it's fun to watch (for me anyways, my dogs not so much). We also have red tailed hawks that have a nest in the woods close by and occasionally I get a good picture of one of them. We get a coyote here and there but they usually just walk right through. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but there is a creek that runs through the backyard and every few years ducks will make a home out of it. Rabbits are only a minor problem, they generally don't eat my plants. I have the raccoons outsmarted so they can't get into the garbage anymore. The deer are the real problem. Not only do they eat my plants, but they carry ticks and Lyme's disease. Plus they are insanely overpopulated.

You get some big birds there, All I get are Quail and Humming birds.

Those are neat looking, I get some hummingbirds, but they aren't as pretty as that one.

I feel your pain.

That is pretty awesome. Is that at your new place?
