Need some advice and expertise on what headers to use. I am installing a 71 350 Rocket in my 87 cutlass. Engine is stock. This is a budget build and I am doing all the work myself. Need to know if headers need installed before I drop it in or if they can be installed after. Its an A/C car with floor shift if that makes a difference. Also and recommendations on a dual exhaust kit would be great.

I had the hedman headers, they were copies of hookers, and worked well. I always installed them from the bottom, the lh side with the starter, and the rh side had to remove the oil filter adapter. The pypes system is ok, but don’t plan on it being a bolt in.

For cheap headers, either the Hedman for full length or the Thornton shorties.
