Kinda it’s a 45ton underground haul truck that snapped clean in half, two 2900Gs bringing her up from half a mile down, night shift will bring up the engine end so the shop guys can put humty dumty back together
Nice, I spent 12 days in Montana putting an electric haul ruck back together that broke in half. The factory was kind enough to send over a new rear frame that had zero accessory holes drilled in it.

kudos for doin all that in your underwear!

Throughput through the Laundry room has been restricted for the last few days so I'm trying to minimize the amount of clothes I wear. The stainless steel edges of the dryer parts are sharp so "naked" was out of the question.

The Dent Wizard guy did a really nice job getting my wife's D88 Vert quarter panel back in good shape. So I reinstalled the taillight assembly on that side and gave the whole things a fresh coat of wax. Now onto cruising season..... albeit a little late.

Hauled my buddies 72 plymouth "roadbummer" across town from his old place to his new place.

He is a dodge guy (bless his soul) and I have the trailer. His 2500 ram is too lifted to use my little dolly even with the 6" drop hitch (haha). Put the Rainier to work.

Talk about an 80's build! Cragars, funny stripes, air shocks, sunpro tach, likely had sidepipes, CB antenna. Was a 318 satellite. Has a good 383 in it with a 2 barrel that barely lets it run. No exhaust. Has some rust in the quarters and fenders but its pretty solid in the floors and stuff. Hasnt been licensed since 94. Ended up with 3 hoods, 5 doors, 3 trunks, few valence panels, 7 fenders or something insane. If he could find another 71/72 satellite shell there would be enough parts to put a another car together.

Every time look at one of these legit 70's or 80's builds is how nobody made wheels with backspace that made sense. This car has 295/50/15's on 15x10 cragars with like 3" BS. There is no joke 6 inches of gap between the inner frame rails and the tires. Could totally have put a 6" BS wheel in there and had it fit good but I guess the back end jacked up and tires sticking out the side looked good back then.

I'm sure I will get roped into helping on it this winter.

I am building a 1948 Ford Coupe, really i am just in the beginning stages of it, figuring out stuff and making a plan of attack, I just started mocking up the motor/trans positions and snapped a pic..im going to mount the engine with motor plates instead of side mounts
it will be Big Block Chevy Powered with a Turbo 400 trans and a narrowed 9" Ford out back with monster meats, it is going to be a street legal rat rod drag car, not a rat rod like these crap boxes guys build with antique trinkets hanging off it.. rat rod, meaning its BBC powered (rat motor) and i could care less about how pretty it is, I'll post more as i progress along with it..
