It's on the the Bay of Fundy, I have been there a few times as a kid and once with my wife in my MGB. . If I remember correctly we use to take the ferry from Yarmouth to PEI

There is a ferry out of Yarmouth, but it goes to Portland Maine.
The PEI ferry is almost on the other end of the province at Caribou, just outside of Pictou.
Yarmouth is best known as a fishing port, lots of lobster comes in there, and there are at least a couple of fish plants.
And it is indeed on the Bay Of Fundy, almost on the southwestern tip of the province.
Theres lots of nice cars around there, there is big money to be made in the fishing industry and they like their nice cars.

I've taken that trip from Portland, Maine to Yarmouth. If I recall, it was approx. a 10 hr crossing across the Bay of Fundy. It was rough as all hell. I ended up getting sea sick.
I drove my Porsche from NY to Portland. That was about 34-35 yrs ago.
At the time, Yarmouth seemed like a frontier town out of the wild west.

I do remember the authorities searching my car for contraband. I guess my hippy looks prompted that.

Awesome to see two Lemans there, but we still need more Lemans cars here. Hell I need one, '81 front, Grand Am tail lights, a nasty proper light blue Pontiac mill, an extra pedal under the dash..

I was in Portland last fall and had lunch by the ferry Terminals and wondered where it went. 10 Hours? No thanks.

It was early evening when we got up there and loaded the car on the ferry.. Fortunately, the crossing was at night, so we slept thru that leg of it. It was the return trip that was a bugger. It was during the day. It was so rough people were getting sick all around us.
Otherwise the drive around Nova Scotia was nice.
We didn't realize the trip was that long.

Sounds like fun I'd enjoy a boat ride in a G. I'm really digging on that red LeMans
